On June 10th, 2017, I’ll be doing a book signing for Tin-Can Canucks at the Western Canadian Regional Model Contest which is being held at the Bomber Command Museum of Canada in Nanton, Alberta, from 0900h to 1600h.
The Bomber Command Museum is a fantastic location for the annual model competition, where you can see miniature military and non-military models while surrounded by the real thing–including the chance to see a Lancaster bomber run up her Merlin engines (weather permitting, I understand).
I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with the contest for several years, and the opportunity to showcase Tin-Can Canucks amongst the other vendors, modellers and museum displays is fantastic. In addition to the signing, I’ll also be sponsoring the Best Canadian Warship Model award, so Canadian Naval modellers, you’ve got some added incentive to come!
So if you’re going to be in southern Alberta on June 10th, drop in and say ‘Hi’ and get your copy of Tin-Can Canucks signed–and if you don’t have a copy yet, there will be copies available for sale at special show prices.
I hope to see you there!
